I'm ashamed to be an Indian

Nisheel: Nisheel
shares some absolutely disgusting news with me- read it on SIFY here, on The Times of India here, on NewIndPress here, on the BBC here.

To summarize:
Indian businessman Subroto Roy (with no class or style) has Rs. 5 billion (US$ 111 million) weddding for his two sons. The who's who of the country (or what I would classify as the scum of the country) attended. To somehow seem charitable, he "married off 101 couples and fed as many as 140,000 poor people across the country".

Now, this is digusting, pathetic, and just crass. I am, today, ashamed to be from the same country as this character. I can already think of a few million better uses the $100 million could've had. Right off the top of my head... HIV/ AIDS cure, save the rainforests, protect the tiger, free Tibet. Should I continue?

Mr. Roy, you pathetic classless lowlife, you deserve none of what you have. If you were any smarter, you'd have known of much better ways to use that money. Oh well, I guess someone has to be a failure. Might as well be you.
