Sparkly and Shiny
Kusum had a surprise lined up for me on Saturday- 25 Oct. A birthday surprise.
I was excited- as should anyone- and the excitement was worth it.
She had tickets for us at the Orange County Performing Arts Center to go see the Russian Kirov Ballet perform 'Balanchine's Jewels'. This was my second ballet performance (first being at the OCPAC with Kusum back in 2001) and I am still in awe. These dancers are graceful, strong, and just plain incredible!
If you get a chance, go see a ballet performance. Brings a whole new appreciation to strength and agility and grace.
