Totally Awesome!

A bunch of us (Brandon, Ellen, Dave Stawinski, Brian Polanski, Joe Epstein, Kusum, and myself) went surfing at El Porto- a beach on the local pond called the Pacific Ocean.

This was my first attempt at surfing and man it was humbling. Being slapped around by waves is not pleasureable. Of course, it's the joy of being out there in the ridiculously saline water that made me do a total of 2 runs. For a first timer, I don't think it's that bad.

Now, I'm hooked. Need to go again. Joy!
